J-POP FANS SUPPORT PHILIPPINE DEBUT OF KIS-MY-FT2 "EVERYBODY GO" SINGLE

Universal Records, the leader in music, always copied but never equalled. After successfully promoting K-Pop, we have now entered the J-Pop music scene with the Philippine debut of Kis-My-Ft2!

Last September 24 (Saturday), Universal Records Philippines launched one of J-Pop fandom's hottest idols Kis-My-Ft2's "Everybody Go" single at Astroplus The Block and Odyssey Megamall. It was a modest single launch event but the turnout was overwhelming. More than 500 Kisumai and J-Pop fans were united in supporting the first ever J-Pop and Johhny's Entertainment artist release launch event. They brought their uchiwa fans, shirts, bags, posters and stuffs to show their love and support for Kisumai.

Upon learning about the success of the single launch, Avex Japan sent this message:

"Japan home office want to say thank you to all Universal Records staffs and all local Kisumai fans who put effort on the boys’ promotion. Hope that they will have a great success in near future!"

Johnny’s Entertainment's seven member idol group Kis-My-Ft2’s debut single “Everybody Go” sold 316,000 copies and topped the Oricon Weekly Single Chart for its first week making it the third highest selling debut song in the history of Japan's Oricon charts, next to KAT-TUN and Arashi. The group also held a very succesful live concert at the Tokyo Dome last August 28th that was attended by 55,000 fans, followed their seniors Tackey & Tsubasa’s and Hey! Say! JUMP!’s footsteps and became the fastest group to perform at Tokyo Dome with only 18 days after their debut. “Everybody Go” is being used as the theme song for drama “Ikemen Desu ne” which two of the members Fujigaya Taisuke and Tamamori Yuta appear in. In addition to debuting in Japan, Kis-My-Ft2's "Everybody Go" single was released in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and The Philippines as well. The boys are planning to tour in five different locations, including South Korea, Hong Kong, and Thailand. This will make them the first Johnny’s Entertainment group to hold an overseas tour the year after their debut. They will replace the previous record set by Shounentai, who toured in four Asian countries in February 1988 after making their debut in December 1985. After the Asia tour, Kis-My-Ft2 are planning on holding a large-scale nationwide tour in 94 locations across Japan. Kis-My-Ft2 are Kitayama Hiromitsu, Senga Kento, Miyata Toshiya, Yokoo Wataru, Fujigaya Taisuke, Tamamori Yuta, Nikaido Takashi.

Universal Records is now cooking up something big for Kisumai upcoming releases!
